Welcome to our website of a project GEOMETRY SUITS YOU.
The project is focused on cooperation of Czech, Polish and Slovak Teams. We would like to interconnect world of Mathematics and Arts.
This short project will help each partner to learn about our schools, polish English and make children understand the importance of math’s in life and its influence into different subjects. We want our students to prepare their portfolios and send them to partner schools. Then students will choose one person from foreign country and prepare for his/her a T-shirt using geometric figures. We will have special lessons from math’s and computer studies helping students to design T-shirts. We are planning to start our project in May and finish in June.
- Subjects: Cizí jazyky (Języki obce) , Informatika/ICT (Informatyka/ICT), Matematika (Matematyka) , Umění (Sztuka)
- Languages: čeština - English - polski - slovenščina
- Age of participants : 12 - 15
- Tools: e-mail, Jiný software (Powerpoint, video, grafika), Videokonference, Web publishing
- Goals: 1. Increase English level 2. Encourage students to use computer and English not only at school 3. Learn about different countries 4. Use math's in reallife
- Strategies:1. The end of April- setting up the project webside,project registration. 2. The end May- presenting schools on a webside,adding students' portfolios and designing T-shirts. 3. June-presenting the resulton video conference.
